Abstract Submission Process
- Abstract submitters must register and pay their registration fees in order to submit an abstract.
- STEP 1: Register and Pay your registration fees via the online registration form.

- STEP 2: Once you have successfully submitted and paid your registration, you will receive a link to the abstract submission page on your confirmation page and email. You may use this link at anytime. You will be prompted to log on to the website using your email address (as your username) and password you created during the registration process.
- STEP3: Once logged in, complete the abstract submission form and click "submit".
Abstracts can be submitted in the following categories:
- Genomics
- Proteomics
- Biomarkers & molecular signatures
- Discovery platforms & bioinformatics
- Genetics & epigenetics
- Pathology & disease classification
- Predisposition and risk factors
- Stem cells and precursor lesions
- Cell biology
- In vitro and in vivo models of ovarian cancer
- Novel therapeutics
- Clinical trial reports
- Surgical outcomes
- Survivorship & psychosocial issues
- Ovarian Cancer Tissue Banks
- Other
Abstract Submission Guidelines:
- Authors are encouraged to submit only one abstract as presenting-author.
- There is a maximum of 10 co-authors.
- Delegates may choose at time of submission whether they wish their abstract to be considered for oral or poster presentation. Abstracts not selected for oral presentation by the reviewers will be accepted for poster presentation.
- Notifications of acceptance will be sent by March 15, 2010. Scheduling details and instructions for oral and poster presentations will be communicated soon after.
- Abstracts must be submitted online.
- Abstracts must be written in English.
- Abstracts must not exceed 300 words in length (not including authors and affiliations). The online submission form will automatically format the abstract.
- The abstract must be submitted in final form. It will appear in the final conference proceedings as submitted.
- Abstracts should be concise and informative and include at least preliminary data. Those stating that results will be presented or discussed may be subject to rejection.
- The use of tables and/or figures in abstracts is discouraged. If necessary, they must be embedded in the text and formatted correctly for automatic formatting.
- Non-standard abbreviations should be placed in parentheses after the full term the first time they appear.
- The use of trade names and company identification is discouraged.
- Submissions not conforming to the established guidelines may not be reviewed.
